Herman Kiefer Pharmacy has been a best kept secret for decades among it's users but now they want staff, friends and community alike to bring their prescriptions. The Pharmacy does accept most insurances

For Detroit Residents who go to one of the DHWP clinics, HK, NE, GR or partner clinics including Advantage Clinics, Dr. Smitherman's Physician Group at DMC Bureau of Substance Abuse partner clinics (Mariners Inn, Operation Get Down, and a few others) the Pharmacy Service Fee is $6.00 for those under 62; 62 and over is $2.00. For those not living in Detroit, the cost is calculated on a cash basis which is still lower than most outside pharmacies.
